Painting Parrots

In LZ3 we painted parrots. We used a lot of techniques to make our artwork look interesting. We did sponge painting for the background and used the splattering technique to add texture to our painting. We used pastels for the parrots. It was a bit hard when we were blending the different colours together.

Playdough Machines

On Tuesday Mrs Lal brought some playdough. I made a car. First I rolled the play dough. Next I put the play dough on my hard board and I wrote my name on it. The play dough was soft and squishy and it had a sweet smell. Mrs Lal added blue colour to make the dough colourful. I had a great time making the playdough car.

Ramps

Ramps are simple machines that help us to carry heavy load up onto trucks, vans and planes. They make our lives easier. We made our ramps using blocks, rulers, books, boxes and pencils.

Making Pizza

LZ3 has being learning about shapes and halves and quarter so we decided to make a pizza. We made a circle and a square pizza. We put some tomatoes, pineapple, mushroom,and cheese on our pizza. We made our own pizza base too. After the pizza was done we used a wheel pizza cutter to cut our pizza into halves and quarters. It was delicious.
